Lavish Erotic Art at Seduction

Seduction showcases lavish erotic art, sure to entice you.

Watch art come to life before your eyes, as celebrated urban contemporary artist John Osgood creates a large painting, live!

Enjoy the anticipated return of the stunning steel-cable Spider Web, suspended 20 feet high by 40 feet wide  – a dazzling and immense piece of art by Kevin MacDonald, Serena Batten, and a crew of local artists.

And peruse twice as much visual art as in the 2011 Seduction exhibit, featuring hand-selected pieces by celebrated local artists.

You may find exactly what you hoped to take home with you.

Jeff Hengst

Jeff Hengst is committed to enhancing quality of life by combining creativity with all things sensual (or of the body). The “vision” of  his Seattle art studio, Hengst Studio, and of all its activities, is that the combination of sensuality with creativity leads to a rejuvenated spirit. Jeff believes we need opportunities to rediscover what it is to be human, whole and “individual”.

Jeff’s paintings and sculptures are sold and collected across the world. He has been an invited Festival artist many years.

Jenna Colby

A self-taught artist who was creative in different mediums, Jenna Colby decided to focus on painting three years ago. After growing up in a small city, Colby’s fascination with urban environments was influenced through traveling and the people she observed and met along the way. She prides herself on “giving each moment in time purpose, and creating color.”

Her works are currently shown in galleries throughout the US, and she was featured in the Festival Store in 2012.

Jenny Dayton

Raised by an artist and given free range of experimentation, Jenny Dayton has been making art her whole life. She studied painting and drawing in college, though soon ventured into her own world, blending artwork, music and ‘zines, creating a hybrid that was everyday life. Though she still works in various media, her longtime preference is acrylic on wood.

Jenny has been exhibiting her paintings over the last 14 years in various venues from New York to Alaska. This is her first time showcasing work with the Festival.

Jessica Walker of Porcelain Poet Photography

Jessica Walker of Porcelain Poet Photography is a self taught photographer in the Seattle area, and her entire Portfolio spans eight years. She is best known for her alternative portraiture, self portraits, fashion and horror and macabre work.

She has been published in magazines, newspapers and art books as well as featured in a number of art shows and online blogs. Countries where she has been internationally published include Australia, Germany, Italy, England, Spain and China. She was an invited artist at the 2012 Festival.

Jim Duvall

Jim Duvall is the founder of Seattle Erotic Art Festival, and has been a juried and invited artist, as well as a juror in 2012. He is an award-winning photographer, and has been shown at the Festival and many other erotic art festivals around North America.

Jim says: “When my art works, you will feel, think and live for a moment in your heart. Purely with your heart. Not necessarily even with words but with that animal part of you that is more human than the rational part of you.”

John Osgood

John Osgood is an urban contemporary artist and muralist who grew up in Edmonds, Washington. He graduated with a BA from Washington State University with a minor in fine arts.

John has installed murals and shown his work all around the Pacific Northwest. He frequently showcases his work at the local Bherd Art Gallery in the Greenwood neighborhood of Seattle.

He was an invited artist at the 2012 Festival.

John Santerineross

John Santerineross is an American photographer with a background in ceramics and painting. He is considered to be a “neo-symbolist”, an artist that continues or reinterprets the 19th century art movement Symbolism. Like its predecessor, neo-symbolism focuses on the spiritual, the subconscious, and dreams.

His complex aesthetic is derived from a combination of his exposure to Catholicism and Santeria and by his fascination with Greek mythology, world religions and iconography. He was an invited artist at the 2012 Festival.

Visioluxus

Visioluxus, aka Elisa Lazo de Valdez, has been creating her own visual realities for over a decade. Her work reflects dark sensuality, mythology, and luxury of form, and is often described as spooky, dream-like and surreal.

Her work is published globally in books and magazines. She has been an invited artist for many years at both the Festival, and last year at Seduction.

She currently lives in Portland, Oregon.
