Every year the Festival complements the juried visual art exhibition with a small portion of curated and invited art.

For the first time, the Festival has invited the Dirty Show® and Nude Nite to curate special showcases of their favorite local visual artists. We are delighted to highlight some of the best erotic art from the Midwest and South.

Almost all of the featured artists are new to the Festival, and several will be creating brand new pieces specially for our event.

Dirty Show

Enjoy never-before-showcased pieces made just for the Festival

Detroit’s infamous Dirty Show® is produced annually in February, and is one of the largest erotic art festivals in the world, featuring a juried visual art exhibition, performance, spoken word and more.

This curated section will feature ten pieces. At least three of these featured artists are creating brand new art specially for the Festival, so attendees will enjoy never-before showcased pieces.

All of the artists are from Detroit, and only one has ever showcased work with the Festival before.

Florida’s
Nude Nite

Admire an over-sized triptych painting and sculpture made entirely of silverware

Florida’s esteemed Nude Nite event is held annually in February, and is a beautiful showcase of the human form, celebrating the nude body through a juried visual art exhibition, body painting and live performance.

This curated section will feature nine pieces, including some of the most celebrated pieces from Nude Nite 2012, and work by some of their favorite local artists.

The majority of this art is paintings and sculptures, including a 4′ x 9′ triptych painting, and one sculpture is a nude torso made entirely of silverware.
