Serenity amid chaos – a model enjoys her time in the ropes with Suspended Animation.
On Friday, April 25th, we held our Launch Party, celebrating the opening of ticket sales and the start of our Festival season. It was an amazing night full of beautiful people. The party took place at Within Sodo, a new venue for Festival events, and we found the space to be fabulous. Even better, throughout the evening that beautiful space was filled with amazing, sexy people. And such a delightfully diverse crowd – from couples in their best shined-up latex to women in adorable LBDs to groups of friends in their fantastically costumed finest.

Suspended Animation was there in all their rigging glory. We devoted a full room to their art, where they not only did some amazing aerial bondage displays, but also took on some brave members of the audience to let them see what it felt like to “fly”. Music was provided for the rope shenanigans by TKO (TeleKinetic One), Raymond Forbes, and Mariu5.

On the main floor, an enthusiastic crowd danced their hearts out. Encouragement and inspiration were provided by a variety of delectable and talented go-go dancers. Music for what we dubbed the House Room was provided by Ramiro, Jayson Spaceotter, and Tait Collins.

All in all, with 300 tickets sold, and guests reporting “the best Launch Party ever,” we could not be happier with how the night went. Tickets to the 2014 Festival were offered at a special price at the event, and we’re thankful to everyone who took advantage of that opportunity. We are also endlessly thankful to all of the volunteers who put their all into making sure the party was an absolute blast. And now we’re tingling with anticipation for what awaits everyone in the end of May!
