Festival Volunteers: Who Are You?

A diverse group of people work together to make the Festival happen. An army of volunteers, from the directors to the people who pick up the glasses; from the veteran who has been with the Festival for years to the newcomer who heard about us last week. All of our volunteers make the Festival what it is, and we want to share that with everyone. This was the inspiration behind the Who We Are page of our website. And we would like you to add your face and story to our list.

If you would like to participate, please send us a head shot with a name you’re comfortable sharing with the world and a paragraph that tells us a bit about you. Consider the following questions when composing your paragraph:

-What is your current role with the Festival?
-When and how did you get involved with the Festival?
-Why did you choose to become involved?
-What does being involved mean to you?

We cannot guarantee that we will use your picture and bio, as we are attempting to gather as many as possible and we’ll get them up as quickly as we’re able. Don’t worry about your writing ability or sentence structure – we have editors to take care of the persnickety details. Also, we will not use your bio if you do not include a picture, but you are welcome to obscure the image with light, sunglasses, or even an artistically placed fan. It’s up to you.

Thank you for being a part of the Festival. We couldn’t do it without you.
