Introducing: the 2015 Literary Art Jury

We’re proud to introduce the outstanding writers, poets, bloggers, musicians, and editors who have agreed to be part of our 2015 Literary Art jury.

Our 2015 Literary Art Director is author Briana Jacobs:

Briana Jacobs, Literary Art Director

briana

A Charleston SC native, book artist and printer, Briana recently set up shop in the state of Washington. She is the author of six books, with the content for each book written over several years. As the pages and stories begin to grow and transform, they emerge into carefully planned and dutifully expressed handmade books. Briana has also been professionally published in several anthologies since 2000, and most recently as an accepted artist of the Seattle Erotic Art Festival for the last two years. This year she eagerly takes on the role of Literary Art Director!

Our 2015 Literary Art jury is comprised of the following individuals:

D L King

D. L. King would like to lie around, doing nothing, but instead, she spends far too much time in front of the computer. She is the editor of thirteen erotic anthologies, so far, among them a Lambda Literary Award winner (The Harder She Comes) and another finalist (Where the Girls Are), two IPPY gold medallists (Carnal Machines and The Harder She Comes) and one IPPY silver medallist (Under Her Thumb). She has Lammy hopes again for this year’s She Who Must Be Obeyed: Femme Dominant Lesbian Erotica. Her short stories can be found in about seventy anthologies. She is the author of two novels of female domination and male submission, The Melinoe Project and The Art of Melinoe. She also publishes and edits the erotica review site, Erotica Revealed. Josef Abrams

abrams

Josef received a degree in English from Seattle University and is no stranger to publishing. He’s been doing it since he was 16 years old. Josef is experienced in the world of erotica, and has been an accepted artist published in Seattle Erotic Art Festival Anthology for the last few years. Currently, he is working on a paranormal thriller and a memoir from his six years in the Marine Corps, due for publication, along with more erotica in 2015.

Mollie Howey

Lit-Mollie Howey

Mollie Howey is a Southern woman born and bred. Her passions include painting, knitting, bearding, baking, cooking and writing. She started writing about beards a few years back and joined the bearding community as a beard judge not long after. Mollie was a journalist for 843, a local zine, from 2012-2013. Based on her work with 843, Mollie is currently pursuing work in the area of film and stage craft. She has also occasionally worked as copy editor for best-selling authors. She’s a submissive at heart with apron dreams who loves to curl up with a good book and it’s her pleasure to join the panel for this amazing literary anthology.

Drea Talley

talley

Drea Talley is an occasionally charming woman with a writing problem. She’s sought help for it, but her friends and family have accepted that it’s never going to go away. As such, she attempts to indulge in this strange addiction at a moderate pace, trying her hardest not to fall into the dangerous, destructive spiral that is full-time writing. She also wrote this bio, and is convinced that she’s funny. Drea has been a part of the Festival for six years – as an accepted artist, a docent, and most recently as the PR and Social Media Director. Her short stories have been published in various anthologies, and she is in the process of publishing her first full length novel.

A Ellen Wahby

wahby

A Ellen Wahby is very kinky free-lance poet from Charleston, SC. Passionate about the arts, self-discovery, flower arranging, and raw lust, she self-medicates by putting pen to paper and letting the raw power flow.
