Pantie Portraits and The Virgin Project

Pantie Portraits and The Virgin Project

Don’t miss your chance to participate in two of our most interactive installations: Pantie Portraits and The Virgin Project.

These artists are inviting you to join them in creating new and unique erotic art, right on the spot at the 10th anniversary Festival.

Pantie Portraits by Josh Larsen and Liz Tunnell

Enter the dark room and slip off your panties (or other interesting clothing or accoutrements) to create your own unique photograph.

The Festival is building an on-site dark room, where attendees can take their own photographs and create their own prints.

The creative artists behind Pantie Portraits invite you to slip of your lace panties, feather hair ties, corsetted gloves, or other interesting accoutrements… to create a unique photograph.

You will then develop your image, and present it in an intimate gallery, beside the images created by your fellow attendees.

You’ll be surprised, amused, intrigued… some photos are vivid and clear, while others will leave you pondering what items created such alluring images.

Virgin Project by K.D. Boze and Stasia Kato

Share the story of your first sexual experience and watch it come to life as these talented cartoonists put your memory to paper for all to see.

The Virgin Project was created by K.D. Boze and Stasia Kato, and began as a collaborative performance art project at the 2009 Seattle Erotic Art Festival.

K.D. and Stasia set up a station where attendees are invited to sit down and share stories of their first sexual experiences. They gather story after story, and then for the second half of the day,  transform those stories into one-page cartoons. The drawings are displayed for Festival attendees to see.

The Virgin Project has already published two books from these delightful cartoons, which will be available for purchase in the Festival Store.

The Virgin Project has won the Golden Toonie Award from Cartoonists NW in Seattle, and was named Graphic Novel of the Year by Cartoonists NW.

Cartoonist K.D. Boze is a Seattle native and resident, and a graduate of Henry Cogswell College with a degree in Digital Arts.

Stasia Kato resides in Bellevue, Washington and is an internationally recognized freelance illustrator, sequential and fine artist. She attended Cornish College of the Arts and graduated from the University of Idaho with her BFA in 2010.
