Performance Highlights

A diversity of performances are sure to captivate you this year. From the main stage show to ambient and satellite performances throughout Fremont Studios, you’ll be entertained, entranced, and thrilled all weekend long.

The main stage show, directed by performer, writer and theatrical director David Crellin aka Armitage Shanks, will feature a breathtaking list of amazing performers, including the Luminous Pariah, Ben de la Creme, Paris Original, ticktock dance, Evilyn Sin Claire, and more – creating a broad range of performance types including aerial, blues dance, pole dance, live music, performance art, satire, and more, on both Friday and Saturday nights at 10pm.

The sets of the main stage show will be an impressionistic metaphor of a Red Light District street scape, with lighting evoking the color and feeling of a neon world filled with sex and commerce. The show will be a sensual (and at times challenging) exploration of many of the things that Red Light Districts are: alluring, enticing, commodifying, and transformative.

Both evenings will feature roaming performers posed as buskers and street characters. You never know who you might run into on these sultry streets. Perhaps a fortune teller, street kid, or a musician or two, and we’re sure you’ll discover a few sexy surprises.

You’ll enjoy watching lovers dancing through the streets of the erotic, and irresistible performers posing in the peepshow windows of the Foundation for Sex Positive Culture’s tribute to Seattle’s late and great Lusty Lady, inviting you to come inside.

You won’t want to miss the “other” side of town, where dark alleys entice and revel subservient scenes. Satellite Alley will feature darker, boundary pushing, and even bloody performances, from bondage to artistic cutting. Ambient Performance Director Eva Luna has much in store for you this year!

And we expect you’ll want to come back Sunday afternoon to experience the thrill of the marching band Titanium Sporkestra, who will be heading from the Fremont Sunday Market to the Festival. Join us to celebrate our last day of festivities in the glowing Red Light District!
