Higher membership levels receive benefits like discounts on art purchases from the Festival exhibition and Store, a piece of art from the Festival’s private collection, an invitation for two to observe the jury process and attend the Artist Reception before the Festival, and so much more.

Society Mission Objectives

The Art Activist Society will directly support the artistic community in a wide variety of ways.

  • Increase the amount of grant funds the Festival can offer to artists
  • Fund art projects and collaborations with other organizations
  • Assist artists who cannot afford to ship or frame their accepted art
  • Continue to provide days when the public can attend the Festival for free
  • Keep art submission fees and sales commission rates low
  • Continue publication of the Festival’s annual art catalog featuring all participating artists, and continue to offer it free to attendees
  • Maintain an expanding online artist gallery featuring all participating artists
  • Reach broader audiences and expose more people to the Festival, its artists, and its mission
  • Offer special rate tickets for those who cannot afford full ticket prices
  • Improve the quality and impact of the Festival each year
