Call For art Deadline Approaches!

With the deadline looming, I want to remind you that there is never a theme for the visual, store, film or literary art that we accept each year. We want as many different visions of the erotic as possible. And that means we need you to be brave.

There may be many of you who have submitted to our Call for Art in previous years and received a declined letter. I encourage you to submit, again, by going to CallForEntry.org and making an application.

Each year we have a brand new visual jury, consisting of an erotic art collector, an art professional, an erotic artist, a sexuality activist, and a SEAF planing team member.
Each new year we have a brand new literary art jury, consisting of writers, poets, editors, and book lovers.
Each year a new film jury is assembled of video producers, film lovers, and sexuality activists.

Installation art is the only element where we have a theme in mind. We want the installations to be interactive in some way. We want to engage our patrons more than just visually. (As an aside, if you have a piece of visual art with an interactive component to it, make sure to include that in the description. It will give you an edge with the jury!)

So, go to CallForEntry.org and submit the work you are most excited about. Submit the art you made that shares your thoughts and ideas about eroticism and sexuality with the viewer.

Please be sure to finish your application, including submitting your entry fee payment, before 10PM on Saturday, January 31st. We suggest allowing 90 minutes to complete the whole process. You may even want to review the guidelines for submissions at SeattleErotic.org.
