Thank you to every artist who was brave enough to send their art to the juries and curators for consideration. I had to personally go through all the art and mark it accepted or declined based on the jury’s notes. It was an incredibly sad thing to decline your art. It’s a shame that we just don’t have room for everything that was submitted in the exhibition. I am looking forward to the special installation at the Festival that will honor all of that art and those brave artists who put their heart, souls, and sometimes genitals, into that art.
If you haven’t received an email from us or CallforEntry.org, please check your spam filters for emails with the title Seattle Erotic Art Festival Jury Results. You can also log in to CallforEntry.org to see the status of your submissions.
Due to a difficulty with the CallforEntry.org system, you may have received two contradictory emails. This means at least one of your art pieces was accepted. Your profile will let you know the status of each submission. We greatly apologize for any difficulties you may have had submitting your application. Don’t worry, next year, we will be going back to our old system, with improvements.
Within a week, we will post information about shipping art and artists contracts for accepted artists. Keep your eyes open for an email with all the pertinent information. Especially important will be information bout submitting works to the Festival Store.
Again, thank you for submitting your art and giving our jurors a hard job.
Artfully yours,
Sophia Iannicelli
Festival Director
