Our 2014 Literary Art Director is writer and poet Kerry Cox:

Kerry Cox has a long history of writing and performing poetry, first in New Orleans and now in Seattle, where she currently serves as Literary Art Director for the Seattle Erotic Art Festival. Her poems have been published in numerous periodicals and collections, most significantly receiving Honorable Mention from Anthology magazine. She has self published three poetry volumes.  Kerry is an aspiring poetry therapist and she has used this perspective to facilitate both workshops and writing groups using poetry as a tool for healing.

Scott Concinnity is a singer, songwriter, musician, poet, performer, visual artist, harmonic designer, public speaker, Zen-influenced music teacher, casual contemporary philosopher, and half-assed neuroscientist projecting synchronistic quantum-waves in the Seattle area for 14 years. In 2013, the Northwest Music Experience Awards selected his song ‘Dirty’ as a finalist for the Blue Song of the Year, and his band, Letters From Traffic, placed third in the 4th annual Seattle Jammin’ Challenge hosted by Seattle WAVE Radio. Additionally in 2013, Letters From Traffic was featured in the new TV series ‘Band in Seattle’ by Victory Studios, and independently released their first professional LP, “Icarus Iterations.” Learn more about Letters From Traffic at www.lettersfromtraffic.com.

 

Lauren Marie Fleming

Lauren Marie Fleming loves to put both sides of her brain to use. A writer since childhood, she runs the critically-acclaimed QueerieBradshaw.com blog and writes for major news sources as an expert on the legal and social issues surrounding sex, sexuality, gender and gender identity. Lauren also started Frisky Feminist Press, which features sexual education guides and classes from the top sex educators on the Internet. From Ivy League universities to major conferences, Lauren has spoken all over the country and is internationally recognized for her dynamic, educational workshops. A law school graduate, she started Creativity Squared, LLC to help bloggers, writers and other creative types turn their ideas into practical, sustainable products or services. Lauren particularly loves helping people find and amplify their voice, dig deep to write their difficult truths, and make a profit by doing what they love. Lauren offers her consulting services through group classes and individual coaching. Lauren is currently shopping her memoir, Losing It: My Life as a Sex Blogger, based on her popular Curve magazine sex blog. She is also working on a diverse young adult series. Lauren is represented by Jane Dystel of DGLM.

Monique Franklin

Poet and teaching artist Monique Franklin, also known as Verbal Oasis, hails from Seattle, Washington. She is a member of African American Writer’s Alliance and is published in their latest anthology “Threads”. Her poetry gives voice to social issues, human relationships, tributes to her many influences, and self-discovery. She has performed in various venue for a range of events such as Inside out Jazz awards at Benaroya Hall, Poertry & Jazz at Lucid Lounge, MLK Jr. Day at Shoreline Community College, Women’s History month at Edmonds Community College, and Poetry + Motion at Town Hall. She currently co-hosts and co-produces Afrodisiac Erotic Poetry Show, celebrating the diversity and sexuality of People of Color (Afrodisiac Seattle on Facebook.)

Tito has performed with Little Red Studio’s Poetry Posse and the Floating Mountain Poets. His erotic writing has appeared in “Little Red Anthology” and “Red Light District” (literary art anthology for 2011 Seattle Erotic Art Festival.) His social and political satire has appeared in ArgusPuget Soundings, and the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. “Gently: Selected Erotic Poems. 2004—2014” numbers among his current projects for publication.
