The 2018 Seattle Erotic Art Festival took place April 27th, 28th, and 29th, 2018.

Here’s what happened at the 2018 Festival!

6:30-7:30PM Accepted Literary Artists’ Presentation – Reading

Accepted artists read works accepted into the 2018 Anthology. In the Literary Lair.

6:30-8:00PM Song Bird – Interactive Performance

For the price of a pretty bauble, a Song Bird will sing to you, and only you, drawing you in with a song to stir your spirit before releasing you back into the crowd. In the Bird Cage, near the Aerial Stage.

7:00PM Guided Art Tour with Festival Director, Sophia Iannicelli

Hear the stories behind why the art was chosen. Starting at the Art Buyer’s Lounge in front of the Festival Store.

Mistress Matisse and the other beauties of Velvet Swing answer your questions and sex advice. Near the Bar.

7:30PM  Guided Art Tour with Jennifer Jigour

The tension in movement in erotic art with special attention to the art work of Jennifer Jigour and select artists. Starting at the Art Buyer’s Lounge in front of the Festival Store.

Featuring: Briq House, Magnoliah Black, Tas Deville, Lowa De Boom Boom. Guest curator showcase on the Main Stage.

8:00-9:15PM  Painting Parlour – Body Painting

Experience the erotic thrill of painting the naked human form. Paint by numbers or paint a pattern. The truly daring can become a canvas themselves! In Aaaahz!

8:00PM-9:30PM Fantastic Flirts – A drop-in educational and creative experience with Madame Umbra

Learn about the novelty of hand fan signals used for courtship. Create your own flirting accessory to keep cool while in the heat of playful romance. In the Studio.

8:00PM-12:00AM  Self-Censored – Interactive Installation

Self-Censored Portraits is an on-site photo project where participants can pose covering themselves as little or as much of as they want with two black censor bars. Behind the Studio.

8:30PM-11:30PM Ambient Performances

Look for intimate and surprise performances throughout the venue.

8:30PM-11:30PM Piercing Performances

Tom Hill and 3 amazing models create living suspended sculptures. (needles) Suspension frame behind Festival Store.

8:30PM Writers Wanderlust – Spoken-word Guided Art Tour

Spoken word performances by Festival 2018 and Guest Literary Artists, inspired by the exhibition art. Starting at the Literary Lair.

8:30-9:00PM  Endza and Jesse Sparkles – Performance

Using needles, impact, and a tie, this performance is a meditation on the suffering of the individual as the rise of the technocratic class makes Seattle unlivable for everyone else. (needles) On the Aerial Stage.

9:00PM-10:00PM  The Luminous Pariah presents: Ascending from the Aviary

Featuring: The Luminous Pariah, Valtesse, Imani Sims, Shanghai Pearl. Guest curator showcase on the Main Stage.

9:00-11:00PM  From Drawing to Sculpture by Ronnie Werner

Watch the artist sculpt a nude model, live. Orders for the finished art available exclusively in the Festival store. In the Studio.

9:00PM-12:00AM  Aerial & Bondage Performances

Featuring: Shelby; Don; Stellaxluna & Paisley; BlkStar & Hummingbird. Aerial & Bondage Stage.

9:30-10:45PM  Aphrodesia

A goody bag of BLUES, PUNK and BLACK POWER! On the Main Stage.

10:45PM-12:00AM  Hot Chocolate – A sexy ice breaker

Our newest event is a sexy, anonymous, “ice breaker.” In Hot Chocolate, as masked participants find a new, or old, friend and feed them a chocolate truffle in any one of a number of creative ways. Use consent and your imagination. In Aaaahz!
