The Artists

Visioluxus –  Elisa Lazo de Valdez is based in Portland, OR, USA. Creative fashion photography, conceptual nudes, artistic portraits that are dark, spooky, surreal and dreamy.

Divine ManiaI was raised in the desert and am now based outside of Seattle WA. “Divine Mania studio” is a crooked barn of creativity out in the wet countryside, where I manically paint all throughout the night, while the good world sleeps.

Stasia-forget me not sm

Artist: Stasia Burrington.

Stasia Burrington Stasia Burrington (nee Kato) was born in Texas, grew up in Montana and now lives and works in Seattle with her favorite man and two cats. She is a full time artist/illustrator. Her passions lie in the arts – in all forms, experimental cooking, camping, theology and science fiction, fat nerdy science books, coffee and ice cream.

John OsgoodJohn paints idiosyncratic characters with a bold palette in an urban contemporary art style mainly utilizing the mediums of acrylic and aerosol. He is known for using vibrant contrasting color palettes to elicit a “pop” factor, often juxtaposing bright vivid colors with depressing emotions to provide balance and to also surprise the viewer.

Jody JoldersmaJody Joldersma is a fine artist based in Seattle, WA. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in communication Design from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. Jody explores cultural boundaries through visual narrative. In her paintings she layers distressed drawings and collaged original photography leaving much of the construction still visible in the final image. Growing up caught between a repressive conservative suburb and the rural escapism of her Grandparent’s farm has led to her interest in the interplay of gender, nature, and culture.

Jim DuvallJim Duvall is the founder of Seattle Erotic Art Festival, and has been a juried and invited artist, as well as a juror in 2012. He is an award-winning photographer, and has been shown at the Festival and many other erotic art festivals around North America. “When my art works, you will feel, think and live for a moment in your heart. Purely with your heart. Not necessarily even with words but with that animal part of you that is more human than the rational part of you.”

Dave Clay I look at the relationship between human intimacy, religion, and beauty with our digital and industrial world. My work integrates figure drawing with physical electrical and industrial elements. I explore the figure, abstract sculpture, programming and engineering.

Andrew SaoAndy Sao’s art comes straight from his gut— it’s raw and real, and he’s got the grit under his fingernails to prove it. Andy, who taught himself to paint with acrylics only a few years ago. He has art running through his veins and some of his earliest memories are of watching his grandfather create beautiful signs for a friend’s shop. Andy’s series comes directly from his dreams, his emotions and his soul. He describes the series as “pure raw emotion; both anger and the sexual presence and power of women.”
