It’s time for Seattle’s sexiest Halloween party! Gallery Erato is preparing to host Seduction: Masquerade of Shadows—a night of music, dancing, ambient performances, and the hottest costumes to make it out of the bedroom!
Seduction this year offers two floors of Halloween revelry. Step into our parlor upstairs for a delightfully spooky party. You’ll rub elbows with creatures that go bump in the night (don’t worry, they’re on their best behavior) while roaming a fantastically macabre collection of art specifically curated for the season. If you’re feeling bold, head downstairs into the Vampire’s Lair. Bewitching beats will keep you dancing, and our bar will be mixing up the perfect cocktails and mocktails.
Not sure what to wear? Come to Gallery Erato any Thursday from now until Seduction to see the gorgeous handmade leather and paper-mache masks by James Corey. Any one of these creations can turn any outfit into a costume! Each mask purchase comes with a free Seduction ticket. Read more about the masks here.

SEAF’s Director of Sound, diem, has lured discobento to start out our night, and Adriana A of BootieMashUp fame to electrify our dance floor for your pleasure.

A journey through any and all genres, featuring favorite throwback jams, total silly shit and absolute fucking bangers. 3. A gift; the thing that cures what ails ya’ through dance, laughter, and love. 4. An expression of joy.
Adriana A
As the Queen Mother of international music and nightlife brand Bootie Mashup, Adriana A has made a career out of showcasing “the best mashups in the world ever,” throwing genre-fluid dance parties in San Francisco, LA, NYC, Berlin, Black Rock City (and beyond) since 2003. By shamelessly combining pop songs both throwback and current, this trans icon has won numerous nightlife awards in California, along with hosting a popular Twitch channel. Adriana’s own mashup productions have gone viral on TikTok, been covered by the artists themselves, and nail that sweet spot of bridging the gap between the mainstream and underground, making everyone feel welcome at the party!
Her most recent mashup work has found her merging diva pop vocals with her love of electronic darksynth and darkwave, perfect for her DJ residencies at Piepshow, Berlin’s monthly queer party at KitKat Club, and Playland, San Francisco’s weekly fetish party, as well as festivals such as Berlin Fetish Week, Burning Man, Wasteland Weekend, and Neotropolis.
Experience immersive performances
As in the past, this year we are scheming for performances to surround you, beguile you, and titillate you. The inscrutable Carson St. Clair, invites you to submit your application to be among the live performance artists of the Masquerade of Shadows. You have until September 26th to whisper your plans for immersive, interactive, and roaming character performances into the ether. Visit the Seduction performer application form here.
Hailing from Seattle, Carson is a multi-disciplinary artist, who first joined the community as a fetish and erotic art model, and has also added event producer, performance artist, and burlesque performer to her repertoire . She has been a performer at SEAF for many years, on and off the stage, as well as a curator of performances at both SEAF and last year’s Seduction.

The work that will adorn the walls of Gallery Erato will encourage your to explore the dark depths of eros. These works of art will be on display at Gallery Erato for the whole month of October.

Enter and vote in our costume contest
It wouldn’t be a Halloween party without a costume contest, would it? We are always so excited to see the couture costumes that our sexy patrons historically adorn for Seduction.
Be sure to arrive early to register for the contest by having your photo taken before 10PM by our staff photographer. Your polaroid will be affixed to our voting wall. Enjoy the party, letting everyone see you in your glory so that when the voting hour comes at 10PM, people will recognize you and cast their vote for four prize categories:
- Marvelously Masked – for the most alluringly on-theme costume
- Creative Climax – for the most creatively constructed costume
- Divinely Dressed – for the most fashionable costume
- Gorgeous Group – for the most intriguing coordinated costumes of 3 or more humans
Our costume contest prize baskets include tickets to the 2025 Seattle Erotic Art Festival, a special offer from The Crow’s Nest Escape, and swag from Aphrodisia Escape, Wild At Heart, Vampons, and other SEAF sponsors.

We are pleased to host live painting by Genea Morrow of Black Omi Art Co. Watch this talented artist create a painting over the course of the evening.
