After 4 fun-filled years, we decided to redesign and relaunch “Sensation City” for 2016. We went back to Andy Cargile, creator of “Sensation City”, asking him to lend his sensuously devious brain to the task. Over a productive cocktail brainstorming session, Andy and his team decided on a return to the roots of
“Sensation City” — providing a broad experience around sensuality and the senses. And Aaaahz! was born!
Aaaahz! is a sensual exploratorium where you can interactively experience a curated collection of erotic treats, from personally playing painter or canvas to sampling aphrodisiac delights, or from pushing your boundaries with eclectic sensations to having the clothes from your lithe body be torn away.
On Friday and Saturday evening of the Festival, in a special lounge designed for exploration and voyeurism, Aaaahz! will delight and amuse you from 7pm until midnight. Here is what you can look forward to!
Painting Parlour – 7-9pm
There will a paint-by-numbers station where you can help paint models to see what they will turn into. Want to be a little more adventurous? We will have two other opportunities where you can get up close and personal with a surprising way to paint a model, or you can get body-painted by other Festival-goers!
Aphrodesia – 9-10pm
How about imbuing your taste buds with sensuality? Sample a few different aphrodisiacs and get in the mood to go on an art tour. Increase your sense of taste by donning a blindfold while being fed.
SensationAlley – 10-11pm
Oh how to delight the skin? Let us count the ways! Explore your reactions to different textures and sensations, and maybe even something a little more electric.
Rip Stop – 11pm-midnight
Ever wanted to rip someone’s clothing off? Or want to feel the powerful sensation of having your clothes being ripped off? Aaaahz! will have special tank tops for sale so that you can experience the exhilaration without any couture regret. We have thought of everything: there will be a private changing station and volunteers on hand for those of you who don’t have a partner available for these types of shenanigans.
