Call for Models for 2014 Installation Art

Jim Wilkinson's "Naked Truth" installation, 2011

Jim Wilkinson’s “Naked Truth” installation, 2011

Now that we have launched into the Festival season, we are getting more and more excited for all the delicious art that will soon grace the walls of the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall.

One such piece is  Jim Wilkinson’s photographic art installation, “Stall.” Jim’s previous piece “Naked Truth” was voted Viewer’s Choice at the 2011 Festival, and we are pleased to report that Jim is currently seeking models for what promises to be another outstanding work of installation art. Jim has had an enthusiastic response to his initial call for models, but does have a wish list of specific subjects he would love to shoot.  We are sharing that wish list with you, because you might be just the model he’s been looking for!

It is important to note that all of these images will be shot in a bathroom stall.

Jim is currently seeking the following:

  • A mother nursing her baby.  Only the very top of the baby’s head will show, and the baby would be covered in some way.  This would be a nude shoot; bonus points if a male significant other is willing to join (also nude)
  • Older or elderly people;  a woman in her 60’s -80’s for a nude image, and/or an elderly couple
  • People of color
  • Muscular/defined males
  • Female who has had a mastectomy and has a prosthesis
  • Heavily tattooed individuals
  • Individuals with pronounced scarring
  • Lithe male and female performers – e.g. acrobats, dancers, gymnasts, etc.
  • Male/female couples
  • Lesbian couples
  • A person in a wheelchair
  • Any depiction of sex or gender identity other than cis male/female
  • Depictions of kink, including needles and/or cutting

It is preferred that models be comfortable posing nude, though it could be possible to accommodate partial nudes or even non-nudes in an effort to capture the diversity noted above.  It should also be noted that you don’t have to be a “model type” in order to pose for this shoot – all people, body styles, and ages are welcome.

Remember, the only thing better than getting to indulge in an exhibition of outstanding erotic art, is getting to be a part of that art!
