It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s the Bondage & Aerial Performers!

While you’re wandering the Exhibition Hall this weekend, don’t forget to look up! We have a fantastic line up on the Aerial stage! Now, without further adieu, the 2022 Seattle Erotic Art Festival is proud to present our Spotlight Bondage & Aerial Performers:

Aimee Kay

Aimee Kay is a pacific northwest native and a lover of all things artistic. She grew up on stage with a musical family and studied voice performance in her undergrad years. Aimee is no stranger to the Seattle Erotic Arts Festival, having been an ambient performer and lead organizer over the past several years. This year she is excited to take the stage, alongside rigger Sophia Sky, and perform something SEAF goers have never seen before. She invites you to come lose yourself in a moment and be swept away with the music of Susanna’s aria from Mozart’s Le nozze de Figaro.

aMermaidRenegade

aMermaidRenegade is a rope obsessed, body-positive artist, creative, and singer from the SF Bay Area.

Amy Funbuttons

Amy Funbuttons, rope hussy, is so excited to be back at SEAF! This irreverent showgirl dabbles in several disciplines, including, but not limited to, bottle-walking, juggling, stilting, modern dance, feline telepathy, and going to bed early!

Joey the Tiger

To watch Joey the Tiger perform is to be momentarily wrapped in a glittery cloak and shown a glimpse of a secret, stirring world of vibrant beauty. The most human of movement, of feeling, and of strength are raw and open in each of Joey’s pieces and tangible in every minute detail of his work. As a stand-alone artist, this performer is a blaze of originality and brings an honesty and vulnerability to the stage that will stir and compel any audience to touch their own depths of courage and love. Joey is a visually stunning aerialist known for his strength and graceful movement. On stage a good part of his life by way of performance groups, he has naturally taken to the skies. He performs on a variety of apparatus, specializing on dance trapeze and aerial straps. He has trained at the renowned San Francisco Circus Center as well as in Montreal with a number of highly talented coaches. He currently teaches and performs around the San Francisco bay area.

Liriope

Liriope will be performing a self-suspension reflection on exploring body and space using rope, focused on challenging themself to be creative and deliberate with bondage, as well as representing larger-bodied AFAB queer humans in kink performance.

MxBliss

Mx Bliss (she/they) is a joyful sadomasochist, sensation empath, consent enthusiast, rope switch, self suspender, and lifestyle quinkster (queer kinkster). Bliss is having the time of their life with rope and is eager to share the joy. She co-facilitates AlternaRope, a celebration of diversity in rope. Both in vanilla and kink worlds, MxBliss frequently discusses negotiation, innovation, and diversity/equity/inclusion.

Myles Hochman

“Myles Hochman (they/he) began their circus arts journey in 2014, when aerial hoop expanded their life beyond being “a brain in a jar.” Building on strong technical foundations, they push to redefine the boundaries of what aerial hoop is and can be. More recently they’ve fallen in love with corde lisse and exploring its many pathways. They’re particularly fascinated by the use of momentum and gravity to punctuate and accentuate compelling stories. Myles’ solo work often focuses on LGBTQ narratives, grounded in both the rawly human and deeply fantastical. Whether it’s the complexities of queer joy in an inhospitable world or finding freedom in the archetype of the monstrous queer, they aim for their work to center emotional authenticity and speak to those who need it most. Myles feels grateful to have had opportunities to share their performances around the US as well as internationally. When not in the air, Myles can be found reprising the role of “mad scientist” as a biochemist at a Bay Area biotech company, playing servant to a demanding Maine Coon mix, and knitting increasingly impractical garments with their partner.

OroKi

OroKi is a local Seattle aerial performer proficient in aerial rope, straps, and cyr wheel. OroKi performed at the Emerald City 2021 Protege Show.

Shay Tiziano

Shay Tiziano (she/her or they/them) is a dynamic bondage performer and renowned self-suspender known for her unique, intense rigs and tightly choreographed, acrobatic sequences. She is an international kink educator and author of Tying & Flying (the first-ever book about self-suspension) and Creating Captivating Classes. Based in San Francisco, Shay has produced events and performance showcases including BENT, the Bay Area’s biggest dungeon party, the Seattle Erotic Art Festival Bondage & Aerial stage, Self-Suspension Open Space, the Folsom Street Fair Bondage stage, Rope Lab, and acclaimed bondage and fetish performance event Twisted Windows.

Vix Nolan

Vix Nolan is an aerialist and pole dancer from San Francisco, CA. Known simply to some as the enchanting nightmare of your dreams, she brings a smoldering intensity to the stage that creates a world seemingly just for you. When not teaching pole classes at VRV3 Studios, Vix can be found rock climbing or snuggling her cats.
