Let’s Talk Tickets

Hello all art lovers, art voyeurs, art adorers, and everyone giddy to see this sexy, sexy art!

In just under two weeks we will launch the first of our SEAF-somes, our socially distant and safety conscious interpretations of the Seattle Erotic Art Festival.  It has been a year of challenges, of turmoil, and if you are anything like those of us here at the gallery, you could use a moment of calm, to take in something lovely, and to lift your spirits.  We hope to provide you with one of those moments.

Given how much we have had to shuffle and restructure the event, it’s probably not surprising that tickets are going to be very different this year.  But do not fret, art lovers!  We are here to guide you through the SEAF2020 Pandemic Ticket System! Okay, you caught us, it’s not actually trademarked.

We have two options for viewing the art in person.  First, you can purchase tickets for a timed entry to the gallery during each run of the different SEAF-somes (9/18 – 10/3, 10/16 – 11/5, and 11/20 – 12/5).  These timed entries are similar to what you’ve likely already experienced with museums during the Before Times.  There is also the option to schedule a private art tour, where for one hour one of our staff leads – specifically one of the leads that works most closely with the art – will take you through the gallery, regale you with stories about the art and artists, and answer all of your questions.  The private art tour is also available via Zoom.

For the online segments of this extravaganza, we have virtual art tours and three virtual performance nights, where we will present the delectable performance artists who were accepted into this year’s SEAF.  We will also have sultry readings from our literary artists.  And, again, there is the option to sign up for a private art tour.

All of our ticketing options can be found right over here. There are a lot of them, but don’t be intimidated – we’re just making sure you have all the opportunities you need to see all this fabulous art.

“But I already bought my tickets,” you say?  Well, we have not forgotten you!  In fact you should have received an email from the Director detailing what your options are for ticket transfers.  You have until September 8 to respond with how you would like your tickets to be handled.  After 9/8, all pre-COVID purchased ticket holders who have not contacted us will receive a discount for future ticket purchases in the amount paid for their original ticket. So if you have not received that email yet I would encourage you to first check your spam folder, and then reach out to [email protected] for all your options.

We are so excited to see you all, and so grateful that we were able to still make this festival happen in these strange and changing times.
