The SEAF 2022 Call for Performance Art is being extended until March 15, 2022! That’s three more weeks for you to join our illustrious Main Stage, Aerial Stage, or Ambient Performance line up!
Why are we extending the performance call? Traditionally, in past years, we’ve always given performance a little more time, and requests to return to that model have come from our directors and the community. Also, we acknowledge that there’s an additional level of complication in recent years due to the pandemic – performances need to be adjusted to meet safety protocols. Finally, we are hoping to add some thematic performances to this year’s line up. What kind of themes? I’m so glad you asked.
Performance Director Boom Boom L’Roux is looking for artists and acts that speak to the lushness of sensuality found in the natural world. Think flourishing gardens of flowers that beg for you to lose yourself in their heady aromas. Think dense jungles full of vitality and embracing vines and foliage. Think of eating luscious fruit and the sense of abundance when the juices escape down your chin. For colors think verdant, springy greens, and the reds and pinks of fresh berries. We want a taste of the lush, flourishing abundance of the primordial garden.
