Rope, rope, and more rope!

It is our goal that something is always happening at the festival. Whether your gaze is focused on the art, the installations, the main stage, or the aerial rig, we want you to always be able to find something to catch your attention and pull you in. The SEAF 2022 ambient bondage and aerial performers are here to make sure we keep you riveted.

Bishop & leila_rose_x

Bishop (he/him) is a Denver-based rope top and amateur photographer. He began his life-changing journey in 2014 with western style before transitioning to Japanese (Shibari or Kinbaku) in 2016. The art of rope appeals to him on multiple levels: the intimacy speaks to his primary love language of touch, the mechanics stimulate his analytical mind, and the human connection feeds his heart. Bishop found the Seattle rope community, and Pan Eros Foundation, while living in Seattle in 2019. Leila Rose is a Denver-based rope enthusiast. Together they will captivate the SEAF audience with a connective rope bondage scene featuring a mix of floor and partial suspension.

Kkinkylips & Moonflower

Kkinkylips has been both bottoming and topping for many years and has taken those skills and has embraced self-suspension as a form of self-expression and creativity. They enjoy dynamic ties that challenge them in new ways that help them become more deeply connected with themselves and their body. While their preferred rope scene is out in nature, they also enjoy the thrill of tying for an audience where the energy is felt throughout the room. Their passion for rope stems from their love of tying every kind of body, and taking into account their specific needs and desires, whether they are exploring rope for the first time, or as a seasoned partner. They’ve always been drawn to rope as a way to connect with many different kinds of people, and foraging for that special kind of intimacy that is found in safe and risky exploration. When not tying, you’ll find them searching for new places to hike, gettin’ naked in nature, and hanging out at home with their favorite little furball! Moonflower is a proud Queer Indigenous Latinx Chinese performing artist and poet. They are young kinkster and budding advocate for erotic embodiment and pleasure expansion. Kink and performance are an integral part of their life, as they are practices that help them abolish and break free from oppressive, colonial, and societal disciplines. They are passionate about creating and contributing to radical containers of play that allow themself and others to go to a place of deep transformation, exploration, and healing. Other things they enjoy are cooking, musical theatre performances, and being in nature!

Liriope and Dr. Dangle

Long-time friends turned (rope) partners in crime, Liriope and Dr. Dangle are two queer weirdos who explore playful and tongue-in-cheek themes while tying. They believe rope can include everything from laughter and teasing to endurance and pain, and is most fun when used to challenge our standard expectations of normalcy.
