Theydies and Gentlethems, come one and all to see what dazzling displays of light, movement, and rope await you this weekend at the Seattle Erotic Art Festival! In 2018, we brought the Aerial Stage to the Seattle Center, and it was such an amazing experience that we knew the stage would come back every year. We are practically tingling with delight over the Spotlight Showcase line up. Come meet the amazing performance artists who will be on – or rather, above – the aerial stage this weekend.
Myles Higher
Myles Higher is a queer, trans circus performer most often found on aerial hoop & aerial rope. By combining dynamic movement, controlled strength, and organic expression, they tell stories with momentum and gravity.
Amy Funbuttons
Amy Funbuttons, rope hussy, has been performing in the Seattle area for years, and is so excited for her second SEAF performance! This irreverent showgirl dabbles in several disciplines, including, but not limited to, bottle-walking, juggling, modern dance, feline telepathy, and going to bed early!
Shay & Angel
Shay Tiziano is a dynamic bondage performer known for their unique, intense rigs. She is a kink educator and author of Tying & Flying (the first-ever book about self-suspension) and Creating Captivating Classes. Based in San Francisco, she is the producer of acclaimed aerial & bondage performance event Twisted Windows. Angel is primarily a self-suspender, and enjoys acrobatic, inventive, genre-pushing rope.
Moonlit Marie
Mysterious influences from victorian, gothic, bohemian and the fantastic become Moonlit Marie on the stage. This mystical tease offers subtle slyness and organic flow that will take you to your knees. Fiercely fluid, and always flexible, you’ll always hope Moonlit Marie will reveal just one more layer – and wonder who might show up next. With acts reminiscent of vaudeville, saucy and sweet strip teases, to high elf fan dancing and aerial silk flows, Moonlit Marie is flexible, unpredictable and adventitious.
Knottydevil and Leviathan
Knottydevil has been practicing shibari for four years. He has been privileged enough to learn different styles from a variety of teachers. He loves to mix styles and flow between poses. Between doing performances and private sessions he has been actively continuing his rope education every chance he gets.
Leviathan has more than earned the name dauntless with their charismatic and mysterious personality. When not drowning willing victims in the deep they’re a writer and a crafter, creating magical worlds and tempting toys. They’ll draw you in with charm and guile and leave you daydreaming for days. New to performance but not to quality, they’re always looking for new ways to stretch the imagination and raise the bar.
Shannonagannery and MxBliss
Shannonagannery and MxBliss share a love of the silly, subversive, and the DD/lg dynamic. So when the two met all the pieces clicked and they have built a relationship centered in mutual respect, laughter, adoration, creativity, empowerment, and care. Having been drawn to rope for years, Shannon embarked on her rope journey in 2019 but did not take flight until meeting Bliss. Now the two can be found tying and flying together and separately throughout the Portland-area and beyond. Their rope scenes are noted for their creative and often humorous tones but in even the most lighthearted scenes does the deep respect, empowerment and love of this femme for femme DDlg dynamic shine through.
