The Erotic Movement Lab

Hello, art loving darlings! We’re getting so excited for the 2023 Seattle Erotic Art Festival and the flurry of activities taking place over the weekend. We have two events running concurrently with SEAF this year. One of them is the 2nd Annual Pan Eros Film Festival. The other is a completely new event, the Erotic Movement Lab.

In the Erotic Movement Lab, we believe that people shouldn’t just view erotic art, they should bear witness to themselves AS erotic art. We believe that self-expression is sexy and pleasure is your birthright. We believe in giving you the space to experiment, play, and explore the canvas that is your body. Join us for a day of movement-based workshops where YOU become the art piece. These workshops are geared for anyone who wants to experiment with sensual movement– enthusiasm and curiosity is more important than experience.

The Erotic Movement Lab workshops are curated as a full journey into sensual movement and body play, deepening your understanding and appreciation of the eroticism of your body. Classes will be oriented around the following topics (specific class details to be released in March): introduction to erotic movement, chair/floor/twerk-based classes, the incorporation of a “partner,” use of self-touch/partnered touch as a means of erotic self awareness, and an exploration of the senses to help you further define what makes YOU feel erotic.

To maximize your experience into embodied erotic expression, we encourage you to participate in the entire 4-workshop journey. You can also sign up for individual workshops if you prefer. Either way, we hope you join us in this special offering.

Classes

Play with new ways to evolve your own erotic dance identity and savor your sensuality. With a heavy emphasis on embodied erotic exploration we will connect with what your mind and body desire, and help you express yourself authentically.

Eve is a Queer, hispanic, woman and a former sex worker who is excited to support you in your erotic movement journey!

The exploration of multiple bodies coming together to co-create art. With a focus on consent, utilizing senses including but also beyond touch, and embodying art in the body and the spaces between the bodies. Gender Fluid Sensual Movement
A space for people to explore their femme, masc, androgynous, changing, or absence of gender through sensual movement.

Instructor: The Biggest Benis
The Biggest Benis began exploring erotic movement in 2019 when they picked up pole dancing. Their previous movement experience includes a few years of martial arts as a kid and over a decade rock climbing throughout their as a young adult.

While they learned most of their dance through pole, they felt like something was missing: They began to deviate from traditional feminine erotic movement after seeing the Magic Mike Live show in Las Vegas, which unleashed the fuck boy from within.

They would describe their movement style as power flow as it embodies strength, dynamism, grace, and fluidity. They began sharing their erotic movement through performing pole dance in 2022. They value freedom in erotic gender expression through movement and hope to share that with others

Lap Dance Love
Bring a partner and explore sensual movement through the art of lap dance. Learn moves and poses that flow and showcase your sex appeal. The Lap Dance Love workshop pass gets you and +1 in.

Instructor: DasBee
DasBee is Seattle’s premier Black pole entertainer. Earning accolades across the country in pole competitions and shows alike, DasBee hasn’t met a crowd she couldn’t dazzle. This dynamic performer enjoys exploring sensual movement and lives for the slow burn. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Das enjoys helping students reach their goals and focusing on connecting movement and music in meaningful ways. Das’ signature Couples Lapdance workshop is her favorite. It’s a rare occasion couples can come together in an intimate setting for instruction, share their passion for each other, and celebrate sexuality without fear of judgment.
