2 Great Tips for Installation Artists

With our Call for Art submissions ending in just 20 days, we want to give the installation art community a few useful SEAF tips to consider:

You don’t have to go all in…just yet17347260926_be7c73467c_m

Remember: installation art does not have to be complete to be submitted! We will gladly accept proposals that include a description of your art piece along with as much detail as possible. If you can submit a sketch, video, or photo as well, please do so, as those submissions are better received by our jury.

Take our money!

Did you know that grant funding is available for installation art? For SEAF 2016, $2000 in grants are available, with up to $300 available for each installation proposal. This can be a great opportunity to offset/eliminate costs for your proposed piece.

Interested in selling your art (or not)? Installations do not have to be for sale, but we do have special commissions for installations that are! Check out our informative Fees and Deadlines section for even more, including submission requirements, fees, and deadlines.
