Make sure to take a break from dancing to visit the visual art at Seduction. We will have a lounge area set up so you can enjoy these spooky, yet alluring, pieces of art. This year, we are pleased to have more sculpture and 3-D art in the showcase. Many of these artists are Seattle Erotic Art Festival alumni from previous year. Without Visioluxus and John Santerineross, would it really be a sexy Halloween show? All art is for sale, so bring your art collecting appetite!

Randy Lagana: “I was born in 1949 in Norwalk, CT and as an adult, my life has been consumed by painting and photography.  I am mostly self-taught and have worked as a drug counselor, police officer, and parole officer.  I find people and their struggles quite fascinating and intriguing as subject matter.”

Dale Lerner: “In my youth I was a trucker, hauling raw clay from quarries in the Cypress Hills, Alberta to local brick and clay processing factories. I had no idea that following my post-secondary education I would again have a connection with clay and its transformation into the sculptures you see before you.”

John Santerineross is an American photographer with a background in ceramics and painting. He is considered to be a “neo-symbolist”, an artist that continues or reinterprets the 19th century art movement Symbolism. Like its predecessor, neo-symbolism focuses on the spiritual, the subconscious, and dreams. Santerineross’ unique style and content has inspired an entire new generation of artists; his complex aesthetic is derived from a combination of his exposure to Catholicism and Santeria and by his fascination with Greek mythology, world religions and iconography.

L.A. Smith-Buxton is an artist and writer living in the Pacific Northwest. Working in a variety of media from printmaking to collage and assemblage, Smith-Buxton explores subject matter that ranges from whimsical figures to abstract meditations, playing with lines, patterns, and surface structures.
